Account Recovery

Follow these steps to recover your account

  1. Verify that you have a valid certificate and the encryption key words are clearly written down.
  2. Download Anchor if you don't have it installed yet and launch the app.
  3. In Anchor app -> add account -> recover from key certificate.
  4. Scan QR Code on the key certificate or enter the mnemonic key manually.
  5. Enter the encryption key words.
  6. Select your security options and complete the setup.
  7. Recovery Completed. Continue keeping the owner key certificate safe.

Certificate explanation

  1. Encrypted private key (redundancy 1)
  2. Recovery QR Code containing all information needed to recover your account. Scan the code for fast recovery (redundancy 3)
  3. Encrypted private key as mnemonic (redundancy 2)
  4. The rest of the private key is encrypted with 6 encryption words. The owner key certificate will not be valid wtihout them correctly written down. NO REDUNDANCY
